At least President Obama won't steal my Medicaid, Social Security and pension. VP Biden won't take away a woman's right to control her own body.

Romney will dump taxes on the lowest 50% and money on the top 5%. Ryan will return women to chattel owned by their fathers, brothers or husbands. Contraception and abortion will be banned. Church attendance and tithing will be made mandatory.

I'll vote for the Democratic candidates for the benefit of most of the people and my own household.

I consider Mr. Paul to be just another megalomaniac that believes his own propaganda. I do not consider any of his proposed policies to be either rational or acceptable. I can only hope he deflects enough voters from the Krazy Konservatives to help President Obama gain a well deserved 2nd term.

Ron Paul was the only one that consistently garnered more than 50% of the votes, when heads up against Obama.

Mainstream media was caught over and over altering the polling.

Why are you surprised?

It's natural progression, and from my view, quite logical politically.

Think about it....

Bush the Elder: Neo-Liberal Institutionalist.
Clinton: Neo-Liberal Institutionalist.
Bush the Younger: Neo-Liberal Institutionalist.
Obama: Neo-Liberal Institutionalist.

Romney doesn't have a voting record, but seeing his actions with respect to Bain Capital, I'd peg him as a Neo-Liberal Institutionalist as well.

Ideologically....

Yes. Both are Big Government war mongers. Neither will reduce the size, cost and power of government.

It's just that Obama is more of a wealth redistribution socialist than Romney and will grow government faster than Romney.

I am not surprised. Yes, all the ones you mention above are good old CFR cronies, so of course they share the same general views. I know about Romney's past as governor where be pushed for gun-bans, socialized madicine, abortion etc, so him and Obama are very close in their views. All they have to offer is a slightly different flavor, and a different letter behind their names. Appraently that's good enough for most people.

If Romney wins (he could win), you'll be surprised at the speed at which he will grow the government.
