I cannot wait for that day....

For what good reason? Are you losing a vast amount of money in international trade? Or you just think that measuring in tens would be more fun? And the U.S. already uses metric where needed.

I suspect any law that forces the country to convert is going to make a lot of money for those who will do the converting. Kinda like O'care. Be more like O'metrics.

Road signs are in English and daily speech is in English. People you do not know speak English with you. English is our national language.

We already did...partially. When's the last time you bought a two quart bottle of coke? Or asked for 1/64th an ounce or asprin? We have a hybrid system. So what.
