If we are to be molding our country after Greece and others why is this not in the news?

In JUly Greece hit an all time high 25% unemployed and they expect this to continue to rise!
Their economy has shrunk about a quarter since 2008 and their young people can't find jobs. It states that Spain has the same unemployment rate a whopping 24%
And to continue to get help by international markets they have had imposed upon them spending cuts and more tax increases Yeah thats a good one tax people more when they are down!

Greece’s statistical authority said 1.26 million Greeks were out of work in July, with more than 1,000 jobs lost every day over the past year.
In the worst-affected 15-24 age group, unemployment was 54.2 percent. In July 2008, a year before Greece’s acute financial crisis broke, there were only about 364,000 registered unemployed.

After losing access to international money markets and nearly defaulting on its mountain of debt, Greece has survived on international bailouts since May 2010.

Gosh, I don't know. Maybe because Greece was spending far more than it could ever collect in tax revenues, ran out of credit, and couldn't raise taxes without crushing its economy. The US is spending far more than it could ever collect in tax revenues, will run out of credit, will not be able to raise taxes without crushing its economy, and will eventually be faced with rampant inflation.

When in Greece....

Well that's fairly obvious isn't it? You are funding your entire existance using borrowed money and it has been generally accepted by anyone with two or more funtioning brain cells that in order for you to avoid the same precipice Greece is presently sliding over, you must cut and slash spending across the board.

From your welfare, Obama phones, food stamps used to purchase potatoe chips and getting cash back, to your current dysfunctional Medical insurance programs and on to the venerable and sacrosanct Social Security; yet you insist on voting for either of the guys who are avoiding telling you this at all costs.

You and Greece ~ ~ Pot meet kettle!
