I don't know if this question has been asked before. And I know obama is half white. But, if he was considered by the American public as being white, would he be reelected? Would he have been elected at all? Would the "hope and change" have gotten people to the poles? Would a junior senator been able to beat a well respected war hero?

Why do you think he barely ever mentions his mother? She's of course white and that won't play well to the voting block he has sewed up. It really is that simple. Well if she even is his mother. For all we know he was created in a test tube and went directly into the hands of George Soros once he was old enough to walk.

If Obama had been white he would not have spoken at the 2004 Democratic convention, even if he had he would not have won the Democratic nomination in 2008, even if he had he would not currently be our president, and even if he had he would not have a chance at reelection.

Before he got a crack at the war hero, he would have had to have beaten Hillary amd that wouldn't have happened.

Probably would have won by an even larger margin. McCain ran a bad campaign, picked Palin and couldn't shake being associated with Bush.
