According to what I have read, executive orders can be set by the president in response to his administration's needs. I didn't like the immigration order, but since it was simply deferring certain cases temporarily and not making any law, it sounds legal. Republicans say it wasn't. Who is right?? I am asking this since Republicans are projected to keep the House which is supposed to keep checks and balances on Obama's power.
