Guys, Obama won with 49% of the vote. It was a razor thin major. He will be trying to do everything he can to go full bore with the current job killing agenda. Unless we want to go the way of Greece, we need to block his agend.
Also, the framers intended divided government as a check against radicalism. We have a radical president, hence the need for strong checks.
Republicans have the House. I hope they don't even show up so not even a quorum can be reached.
Obama is stifling the economy with his endless new regulations. To congress: Roll back the regulations to the extent you can and oppose everything. Don't give an inch.
Endless new regulations? Like what?
BTW, you have seen what the net result of purposeful obstructionism has been so far? Haven't you?

It takes two. Both sides of the aisle need to start working with each other, not against each other, and meet somewhere in the middle.
If nothing else, hopefully the Republicans and the President have learned something over the past four years. Republicans being stubborn because they lost, and the President being arrogant because they won doesn't serve the people or the country, only themselves, and look where that has gotten us.

An outstretched hand, and offer continuously to work with ideas and effort has been not only the President's stance, but the Dem party since '08. Republican's chose to obfuscate and force gridlock.
The offer HAS and is there. Republican's in order to even save their party need to take off the blinders and meet America on middle ground. Not demand that America meet them.
Recall votes in every republican house district that was close. Make them spend money on fighting recall votes.
