First, they have a wealthy constituency in the US, that donates millions to the DNC (go figure!) Second, they are our anchor country in the middle east. Just think of them as the 51st state. We have bases there, we share technology, and they bring A LOT TO THE TABLE.

Thirdly, and most importantly; They pi$s off the pro-PLO folks, and that's priceless. When you can upset terrorists and corrupt cronies, it's a good thing.
