16 isn't a prepubescent child - so pedophile isn't an appropriate term. Plus in a majority of US states it's legal to have a sexual relationship with a 16 year old.

Yep, he admitted a relationship with the accuser AFTER the accuser turned 18. It's not illegal to have a sexual relationship with an 18 year old. 16 is legal depending on the state.
