Terrorists would never get nuclear weapons. Despite popular belief, the vast number of Muslims and Arabs don't want to kill themselves. Especially those in power. You didn't see Osama Bin Laden with a bomb strapped to him did you?
It takes a national effort to produce enriched uranium. A nation would never give nuclear materials and weapons to terrorists, they aren't that stupid. It would mean that they would cease to exist. The reason that Al Qaeda was stationed in Afghanistan instead of regular nation was because most other stable countries understand that we would invade due to a massive attack like 9/11 on us. And a nuclear attack, reaction would be swift and unmerciful.
israel is not the aggressor in the area, the arab nations are. note that when peace treaties between israel, eygpt and jordan were signed, the peace has been kept. most arab nations dont want to use nuclear weapons on israel as they know that they would get the fallout from a nuclear attack. iran on the other hand just might use a nuclear weapon against israel because they want to bring on the conditions they feel will bring forth the twelfth imam, and thus the cleansing of the world.
I would agree with this. I'm working in Saudi right now and you can't lump these Arab countries together. Iran is not Arab and the Saudis can't stand them. They do feel that Israel should give up Jerusalem at the very least as it's one of their holy cities. Not only does Saudi dislike and distrust Iran, they also don't like Qatar or Kuwait or just about anone else that's not Saudi. The point being that these are not monolithic thinkers although they do agree about certain things including that Israel needs to be removed from "Palentine."
Jerusalem is only a holy city to the Muslims as the Prophet Muhammad copied that from Judaism. It is not the number holy city to the Muslims whereas to the Jews Jerusalem is the holiest city of them all.
The fact is that when the Arabs are not focused on fighting Israel, there is internal fighting between them.
