I would not object to any and all religious displays on public property so long as everyone could play. I would not object if all the local pagans decided to have a public orgy in the park on the Solstice. Who am I to judge anyone's religion?
You did not give enough of a qualification, public yes, government no. There is a difference between a government place where it belongs to all the people Jew, Muslim and Christian as well as atheist, and a public place that is not owned by the government.
You understand the Constitution differently that 2 centuries of Supreme Court Justices. Hmmmm.
How about you going ahead and showing the place in the Constitution where the words separation of church and state appear? It should be very simple for non-believers to do, but none of you can see the words.
I'd rather nobody played on public property than EVERYONE playing on public property when it comes to displays. Private property is good enough for everyone...public is for the "look at me I'm special" idiots. Plus it's just so much environmental clutter. We have enough of that already. Some pretty lights is really all any public place needs if they want to get in the game.
Christmas is more of an American holiday now than it is a Christian.
Yes, Christmas is an American holiday to celebrate the birth of Christ.
It is an American holiday since it is a national holiday celebrated by 96% of Americans.

"Public property" is owned by the federal, state, or local municipality.

Christine O'Donnell, is that you?
You know some other things you won't find in the Constitution Roy? The right to privacy, the right to vote, the right to travel, etc.

Christmas is a holiday celebrating consumerism.
