National average dude, if you choose to live in a high rent district and/or a natural disaster area you will pay more than the average. And supply problems and price gouging after the storm might inflate localized prices. So you know, we didn't experience a price spike becuz of sandy. On election day my local BP station was selling regular for $3.029.

I hear that big oil might be getting investigated for manipulating prices. Apparently, many of the price spikes "caused" by refinery shutdown were fake. Indications are that many of the shutdowsn never occurred and were only planted in the media to justify price instability.

If you and daddy made baby you should both pay. It wasn't a threesome that I know of? Was it?
But ONLY the daddy is acting in a immoral and CRIMINAL manner.

But NCN is INSULTED that I would include a single mom in with retirees, as if they're sub human.

If daddy took off and isn't paying yes it is immoral and should be considered criminal.

In response to insulted people. You have no problem attacking the so called wealthy. Why is it ok to insult people who worked their way to a better life and make good money?

Obama and Democrats are attacking the Henry's. HENRY -- high earner, not rich yet (make $200K/$250)

The Henry's are not the big bad bankers and didn't do anything wrong. They pay plenty of taxes and work hard too yet they are going to take the brunt of the class warfare BS.

You don't think twice about insulting them.

The elderly paid for their benifits. The disabled are taken care of and should be, but we are becoming a nation that expects something for nothing. A single mother should not keep having children she can't take care of. Surely, she knows where they are coming from. A person that is disabled because of drug abuse should not be my problem. Someone who has never had a job because they can get welfare and food stamps should not be allowed to receive them. There are different types of people not working, and if you have never seen young healthy people using food stamps then you have not been to the grocery store lately. America cannot keep providing handouts forever. No country or wealthy population can support what we as a nation have created. Where I live people are always complaining because they can't pay their bills or have no insurance, yet they don't work. The economy where I live is fueled by tourism, and there are jobs out there. They are paying kids ten dollars an hour to work at McDonalds because they can't find anyone to work. The cost of living here is really low, so you can make do on a lot less than in some parts of the country. You can clean condos for 100$ per unit. The work is hard and tedious and people don't want to do it, yet they expect the ones of us who do work to keep shelling out. I am sick and tired of it.

I pity the rich, because most of them are going to hell.

What stupid assumptions you are making. Maybe you should take a moment and read my posts to find out how I feel about the government. Are you this much of a douchebag in real life?

I pity the rich because most of them are going to hell. Not because there are poor people that they aren't doing something for, I don't think they owe the poor much of anything. I think a great many rich people are simply *******s. They think they are better than everyone else, and make improper assumptions about people they know nothing about, usually in a derogatory way. Much of the time they have been more the beneficiaries of what I might call luck, but is probably more associated with something similar to nepotism.

I have absolutely nothing against success. I want people to be successful. I do have something against hateful and condescending people, who commonly engage in economic manipulation for their own benefit. I find both to be evil. And thus, most rich people are going to burn in hell, probably you included.

So, deadbeat dads don't share the blame at all? It's all on a woman? The war on women is real.

You might want to drop the stereotypes faux spews has been feeding you. Welfare? Tell me about this wonderful program that just issues checks to anyone? Where do you sign up? By the way, what is its official name so I can research it for my self.

I know about Aid to Dependant Children, are you confusing that with welfare?

I know about Snap, but Bush expanded that greatly to working ppl. I assume if a GOP prez expanded it it must be a vital program.

What is this welfare program you refer to called?

And that is exactly what you are doing. Making assumptions about people you don't know.
