Of course the usual suspect lefties are going to chime in on this with inane comments. After all, that the GOP is the party of 'dumb' is probably chapter 1, verse 1 of their moonbat bible. Just ignore them.

I would have never said in the past that the GOP was the party of dumb. Sure, the left is the party of higher ed and graduate degrees. But how many of those degrees are in art history, ethnic studies, q***r studies, etc? The right has the engineers, economists, MBAs, and rocket scientists. And it doesn't take a rocket scientist to determine which side has had more brainpower.

But after watching election 2012 unfold, I'm hearing some alarm bells. While people on the right were calling Pres. Obama an 'empty suit,' Obama was putting together a winning strategy. People like Michael Medved, Hugh Hewitt, even G. Will and M. Barone, led us down a blind alley of wishful thinking. Meanwhile, guys like Nate Silver on the left were fine-tuning their prediction algorithms. And Team Obama was putting together a 'dream team' consortium of academics, with people like Richard Thaler from the Univ. of Chicago b-school.

Actually I think that being the party of brainpower has always been the GOP's trump card. We are not the party of warm and fuzzy, or Santa Claus, or the Tooth Fairly. Dems have a lock on that. So if we lose the brainpower edge, we're sunk.

I think Mitt got a BIG taste of extra-virgin right-wing propoganda...he was surprised as hell when he didn't win the election. They kept him in a bubble and fed him right-wing propoganda...poor guy (not).

Exactly. The lefties helping Obama gain too much power and when someone has too much power they abuse it. Right now Obama is using bully methods and his poor dumbed down (don't understand cause and effects) to fight his battles. Imagine that.. the poor running the country. But they are wrong.

Once Obama gets what he wants the middle class and the poor do not understand that they are doing better than other countries.

Next Liberals and the United Nations will institute a global warming tax. They will be meeting in two weeks in Qatar. Obama will use his redistribution plan designed extract money from the U.S. economy in the form of a global warming tax and doling out the cash to Third World nations.

It's amazing how Obama can be a do-nothing empty suit President who also uses bully methods to get everything he wants.

The lame duck Obama administration will likely be all over this UN plan. As a U.S. senator in 2008, Obama sponsored a bill known as the "Global Poverty Act." The bill would have made levels of U.S. foreign aid spending subservient to the dictates of the United Nations.

Obama's bill would have required the president "to develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to further the United States foreign policy objective of promoting the reduction of global poverty, [and] the elimination of extreme global poverty..."

The left wing Liberal media will be the water boys and girls to carry the message of global warming.

Default Party of dumb?

The Republicans replaced thought with belief based on "if I say it ten times it must be true" faith. I am counting on the True Believers in the Republican Party to continue to control their primaries so the rational people in the party will be forced to run politically unelectable people. Did you guys really expect a ticket like McCain and Palin (Military Industrial warmonger and pretty idiot) or Romney and Riley (self centered heartless vampire business thief and woman suppressing Kristian Krazy) to actually win?

I do not agree with many of President Obama’s policies because they still cater too much to the ruling class of dependant owners and the Military Socialists but he was far better for the country than any of the Republican offerings.

The president did not put any spending cuts on the table. Harry says NO Cuts. NONE. Obama just spoke and said he will consider cuts next year. Those discussions will never occur.

A tax on carbon dioxide would also be seen by politicians as a way to offset our severe budget deficit and staggering national debt. It would be sold to the American public in the name of saving the planet.

Obama may be another step closer to realizing his 2008 dream of massive global wealth redistribution.

Middle class... you are rich compared to 3rd world countries.
