I'm starting to think people should have to purchase insurance on each gun. Insurance company bases premium on your competency in life ie hold job, stable with finances etc and the type of gun ie assualt weapons have very large premium
Perhaps this is a way to weed out some of the less stable people from legally owning a gun.
Victims will then have a fund to pay for consequences of an irresponsible gun owner.
