Reporter asks random Nigerians if they would rather have $1 million or a visa(permission to travel to a country of choice). Surprisingly, most would take a visa.

It's Nigeria. Anyone would rather live in even a somewhat civilized world than that hole. Besides, even if they magically were given $1,000,000, it would paint a target on their back. They could hire 100 bodyguards and it would end up being 100 hit men.

Every Nigerian I've met is educated and civilized. I think they could have a good country.

Nigeria Comedy Gist: Visa or $1m? - YouTube
It asks them to any country in the world, not just the US.

I'm sure plenty of Nigerians have moved to Europe.

sure, nigerians would rather live here, it makes it easier to run their scams, less distance, and they would get deported instead of prosecuted if they are caught.

A very very large proportion of Nigerians (up to ~3M) living in Europe live in the UK alone, followed by the US. Not a lot of Nigerians outside of the UK in the rest of Europe

That's my point, just because someone wants to leave Nigeria it doesn't mean they worship the US.

USA is not the entire world.

Most Nigerians aren't scammers. Besides, they're the most educated group in the US.
