Rednecks? Exactly what is a redneck? I personally know quite a few folks who own guns but I'm not sure which are rednecks. My primary care doctor owns guns. Would he be a redneck? Help me out here.

When the government declares they will find a solution that means two things. It's gonna cost a pile of money and it will only make things worse. Yippee.

Even the folks on NPR agree new gun laws will have little to no impact on acts like this.

Again, I would say the body counts would climb for a kook like Laza without a gun......other methods are even worse

Gun control will not stop kooks like Lanza.

And for the record, many gun owners are highly educated, feel free to stick with facts.
#1 it's speech

#2 He speech was not about gun control, but a multi faceted solution that decreases the number of these mass shootings. As he put it (paraphrasing), just because a problem is complex that does not justify inaction as the answer.

I am a gun owner and I guess that makes me a redneck? Except that I am educated, have lived all over the world and speak 4 languages. Damn I am a PROUD redneck then!

Incredible, gun haters exploiting this tragedy before the people have been laid to rest. The OP gleefully exclaiming yahoo! "WE COMIN' FOR YA NOW BITC***"

A couple months ago many Democrats calling some here paranoid about believing they want to ban guns.

But now with a fresh tragedy and a election over they can show their true colors.

You mean solutions like tax-cuts? Or elimination govt agencies?

Solutions to problems are not always bad. Why did you vote for Romney who proposed "solutions" if you think solutions are always bad?
