Watching Obama speak at the memorial service, right now.

It is clear. This has finally been the tipping point.

Better stock up rednecks, because we're coming for the guns.

Eeehhh...it would have to be the GOP Congress who takes them. Seriously. Presidents do not create laws.

As for the speech, it clearly portrayed him as a Christian person, and he also did not push for any particular solution for the problem, he only said we need find a solution, and I don't think anyone can disagree with that.

but he does sign them into law. plus he can bring the democrat leadership over to suggest laws that should be brought up. hell, if obama gets a hair up his butt, he can always write an executive order, although it would be unconstituional.

This speach is pure BS......we all had to change the channel.

Gun control will not stop kooks like Lanza.

And for the record, many gun owners are highly educated, feel free to stick with facts.

By definition criminals don't obey laws, why would we think more would help?

I also believe it is illegal to fly planes into buildings as well.....

I would argue without guns, the body counts might indeed increase for loons who are set on killing large numbers of people like this. Of course they would have been institutionalized in the 1950s, but not today.

Nope. It would have to go through GOP Congress. People need to understand how this country works.

Therefore, you are accepting school shootings, such as in CT, as the new normal?

Feinstein beat them all to the punch with her announcement today.
The Dems are running this one.

Gun control along with recognizing mental illness sooner and more effectively will help.
