I also want to note the only thing that seems to interest this liberal guy is TIm Scott's skin color. Why does it matter so much? i haven't seen this guy say one th ing about Tim Scott's views on politics which seems to be more important.

He still won, didn't he? Politics is a dirty business in and of itself. Nothing you can say can contest that he wasn't duly elected by the voters- a fact.

He was elected to the House and has been very popular. If he hadn't been picked you would say it was because of his race.

Because your side makes so much of it every time minority candidates are considered for posts or offices on the Dem side. I could care less who Nikki Haley picked because it's a given that she'll pick another tea party republican.

That would be the case for anyone that was selected. Tim Scott was duly elected to 100% of the offices he ran for.

i dont' see anybody making it a big deal but you. if he was some black guy working in a hardware store in florence sc and he was picked for the job, yeah, maybe that is affirmative action. but that's nto the situation and you are just trying to annoy republicans on here. you want to stir the pot, nothing wrong with that but the reality is you white liberals and some black liberals do consider black Republicans Uncle Toms. You think blacks are supposed to be Democrats and you don't tolerate them well when they have their own views on things.

Gee do you remember, I do, about 10 days ago the left was tell us, right here, no way would Scott get appointed. They said Haley wouldn't dare appoint a black senator cause the south wouldn't stand for it. Not just one person said it, several did..Now, what are they going to say if JC Watts becomes the leader of the party??

Aw, now you are just being evasive.

Please, since there has to be a selection, explain to us why an elected congressman is a poor selection? Why don't you tell us about his education, work experience and so forth that makes him a bad pick in your eyes.

You got that right. It's completely disingenuous.
