(Offhand comment based on this)

Guns do not prey on people - PREDATORS prey on people.
Disarming people only benefits the PREDATORS who hate it when the victim can shoot back.
Compromising one's safety to empower predators is not logical.
WHy have any laws then?

Why have laws against speeding if only criminals will speed?

Duh....of course we pass laws knowing full well that some people will break them. It's called a civilized society.

"If we ban guns, then only criminals will have guns".......gee thanks, for basically defining the term "illegal" for us.

We might as well do away with laws against rape and abduction then "if only criminals" will do that then.

No, all stats show that people with easy access to guns, kill people. That would pretty much be all the States leading the charge against any reasonable reforms.

So, Pratt would have been more correct had he claimed that homicides predominately happen in States without reasonable gun control laws.

WASHINGTON, April 24 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- States in the South and
West with weak gun laws and high rates of gun ownership lead the nation in
overall firearm death rates according to a new analysis issued today by the
Violence Policy Center (VPC) of Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
(CDC) data.

The new VPC analysis uses 2005 data (the most recent available) from
the CDC's National Center for Injury Prevention and Control. The analysis
reveals that the five states with the highest per capita gun death rates
were Louisiana, Alaska, Montana, Tennessee, and Alabama. Each of these
states had a per capita gun death rate far exceeding the national per
capita gun death rate of 10.32 per 100,000.

By contrast, states with strong gun laws and low rates of gun ownership
had far lower rates of firearm-related death. Ranking last in the nation
for gun death was Hawaii, followed by Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New
Jersey, and New York.

Duh...the difference is you can effectively defend yourself from rape, kidnapping and murder if you are armed.

Pratt destroys Morgan? Right, right.

And I just watched Mark Sanchez and the New York Jets 'destroy' the Tennessee Titans.

I think that whether or not either speaker got waxed would depend on the listener's point of view. Morgan, rather than conduct an interview for information proceeded to inject his own point of view on the subject.

At least now I understand the general dislike of Morgan, that being something akin to the dislike of Bill O'Reilly. And resolves any issue I may have had with never having watched Morgan before this vid. He's just exceeded his 11 minutes of fame.

I think they Pratt had it until he stooped to Margan's level by saying "but you English are like that aren't you?"

Regardless, Morgan is constantly making an ass of himself on that show. He becomes completely belligerent and resorts to personal attacks when he knows he's wrong.

I'm thankful Top Gear host, Jeremy Clarkson punched him in the face:

Giggle

Right, right. I'm sure Morgan will be run out of town by Sundown.

I mean....after all, everyone knows how concerned MSNBC, or CNN is with the opinions of Faux News slaves, like yourself. (or Fox Noise, if you prefer)
