Guns bring me pleasure, when I am the shooting range and shoting at paper targets...that's the only thing my guns have EVER shot....paper....

CCW permits tend to be pretty common in Rural Oregon. Likely the kids both have a gun of their own, and were being responsible reporting it to the police so that it could be returned to the owner.
