If Obama was from Idaho instead of Hawaii and returned to Idaho for Christmas would people complain as much? Isn't it Congress' job to get a bill together? The House GOP gave up long ago and left town without even trying.

I think the golfing and this vacation or get away is the best for Obama, he needs it. But also think the development and lack success of this whole thing is totally the leaders fault. Its the leader who is supposed to lead the way with the biggest concessions and understandings. Why...? because that is the only way contrasting idea's can be met for an agree to disagree and lets get on with the day with a resolve in this. He is supposed to comprehend the issues and stop working this thing from the emotional imagination of what is only...less then 51% to begin with, so theres no mandate, its all in the mind. And chance's are from how things are going quite a few minds have changed due to becoming informed, layed off, and other dim expectations now showing the way. A leader has got to be able to gather and manage, and explain... for direction in the peoples best interests, not perpetually relying on emotional schemes for this erroneous and misaligned sense of advance. I hope he enjoys his break, everyone is human...its how the world works, the ones with the most food, power, money have to make a greater concession. In opinion and in general a leader needs to be able to harness or put in gear progress, and explain from a position which will invite progress.

It seems like oddly enough for now, the republicans saved wall street puppet Obama from imposing the killer genocidal cuts to Social Security the republicans want. No doubt Obama still wants to cut Social Security and Medicare, but only by slow death by a thousand cuts so his base won't realize they are still being flayed alive so his base won't notice. Chained CPI and raising the Medicare age will result in many or even mass unnecessary deaths. Remember austerity equals death for the poor and elderly all of which is what makes Obama more dangerous in some ways than republicans cause is his base won't even fight for the economic rights of the poor and elderly with Obama as president.

Finally someone who gets it. I've been saying Obama is a phony and a fraud, and all I hear are crickets in the background. Obama is not the working man's friend and he is a disgrace to the legacy of FDR, JFK, and LBJ. He's neither of them, he's a Wall St. political movement assassin like I said before. Somebody needed to quiet down the uppity leftists during the Bush years, and Obama is the perfect pacifier.
