I think I'd actually prefer if my toddler could have a Beretta instead of a Colt - much more stylish. Should go nicely with her My Little Pony backpack.
Oh my gosh--do you think they could make them in PINK with sparkles!

Ooooh! Can we have alligators in the moats too? I want one! I'm thinking my PTA is going to be ALL OVER THIS ONE. Forget adding books to the library--we want a MOAT!

A long time ago I was a professor at one of them there evil liberal universities where I taught graduate students. Some of them were on paid scholarships from an employer. I remember one student who begged me to let him pass - even though he had done quite poorly - because he would be in serious trouble with his employer.

It would have been a MUCH better working environment for me if he had learned in elementary school that brandishing a gun can be a very convincing argument. He would have pointed his gun at me, I would have pointed my gun at him, we would have exchanged some heart-felt laughter, remarked on the greatness of our country, and would have gone home happy, knowing that we had diffused the situation in the way our founding fathers intended.

Unfortunately, none of that happened. The guy was an adult and could have owned a weapon. Yet, because he had not been indoctrinated into the idea that "problems" could be solved with violence, we just had to part ways without ever comparing guns.

It's true! We opted for the p*ssy liberal solution and thus, acted utterly un-American. Well, whatdaya expect? This was in NYC and we all know what a bunch of p*ssies New Yorkers are.

So sad.

It just goes to show that the NRA didn't really think this one through - or they would have come up with the alligator-filled moat.

I'm thinking about getting one for my house, too.

If they are of age, and legally able to own a firearm, why not? Guns aren't that scary.

If you were still teaching, you could feed your failing students (most people at universities are commies anyway) to the alligators in your moat! Take that big librul university! Nothing stops a TRUE patriot! I think WE should run the NRA and show people how this is done with STYLE!

You know, that is SO true. I've always argued that guns are not scary enough to scare people with bad intentions away. Every time I am involved in a home invasion, there is no sound more reminiscent of a cup of warm eggnog by the fire place than when I hear a home owner load his Mossberg 500.

This was fun, and thanks for the laughs. I'd rep you if I could... Silly is the most appropriate response to most of this garbage, because you sure can't take it seriously.
