I think kerry did that with his vietnam testimony to congress hwen he called our troops a bunch of murders and rapist. Not fit to serve making such a blanket statement.
He didn't make a blanket statement , he was refering to specific incident/incidents.
Our troops DID rape and murder....it happens in every war....denying it doesn't make YOU a better American...

What this country really needs is another Condolezza Rice ... who ignores her terrorism expert Richard A. Clarkes Jan 2001 urgent memo about meeting on Al Qaeda, and then lies us into an unnecessary war with Iraq!
How many Americans died in Iraq? 4000? 5000? How many Americans died in 9/11? 3000?

again I ask what is your experience in real live combat? have you experienced people trying to kill you and your "co-workers" have you had to kill people to defend your life in service to your country? have you seen personally the horror of war and all that means? by your answers I would say no. kerry has well earned the right to throw away his medals if he wants and to talk about his experiences.
I'm extremely proud of EVERYTHING Senator Kerry did during the war and AFTER the war. Moreover, he was absolutely correct about everything he did and said. Bravo!
Vietnam was an imperialist objective, and we got exactly what we deserved for meddling in the affairs of others and attempting to install a puppet regime.
Vietnam is over folks. Get a damn life and move on. We lost! Get over it.
This reminds me of the 2004 election year, when right-wingers tried to diminish Kerry's service record in Vietnam. Three purple hearts, a bronze star, and a silver star--and they attacked him for it.

John Kerry was, and is, a traitor and a coward. Read the history of the real John Kerry. He was far from a war hero. He invented the medals and then threw them away during one of his anti-American protests. He is much like Jane fonda, he hates this country and will gladly help obama finish it's destruction..
The kind of man he is, is a perfect fit for the rest of this corrupt administration.
