For people who are supposed to be 'good in business', they dont seem to be able to bargain or deal very well, do they?

Having totally collapsed on deficit reductions in fiscal cliff non-negotiations (agreeing to a mere $12 billion in cuts down from an Obama offer of $600 billion), Republicans are already offering signs they will once again wave the white flag when it comes to the alleged battle over the debt ceiling.

Conservative America deserves better IMO.

Republicans spend and don't tax to pay for it.
Democrats spend and tax for it.

Yup. Politicians in China are Engineers, people who create, who learn how things work. In the west they are lawyers, people who leech, people who profit out of conflict.

Does more need to be said?!

They need to come up with real solutions and put them through at an appropriate time instead of holding the debt limit hostage and causing real damage to our economy. They should do actual things to control our debt instead of teetering over a government default (a huge disaster) over some arbitrary limit that shouldn't even be in their control. I guess it fits the overall GOP message these days, redemption through pain, i.e. let's destroy our country in order to save it.

The politicians in China dictate free speech, use of the internet, support substandard working conditions, and limit births by law. Why do you think they are doing a good job? Maybe you would like to live and work there.

those who can, do
those who cant, teach
those who cant teach, administrate
those who cant administrate, end up in government.

Republicans exceed in rent seeking behavior while making the rest of society worse off. This is epitomized with NAFTA (in which the neoliberal Clinton signed), they pass a gigantic to big Pharma with Medicare part D, their war in Iraq who posed no threat to us while killing hundreds of thousands while lining the pockets of war profiteers, their handouts to Wall St (which Paulson was going to write a blank check, GOP Congress disagreed since Obama, but the deregulation happened under the neoliberal Clinton).

All during this time, Republicans were advocating that tax cuts pay for themselves, that debt is good, lowering the effective rate on the rich would raise all boats, that deregulating the financial sector would lead to candy canes and gum drops, offshoring jobs would make American businesses more competitive and be good for employment, that NAFTA wouldn't leave a giant sucking, etc.

Republicans may be good at business since they are rent seeking *******s, but they don't know a lick about economics. Or perhaps they do and they are willingly being economic terrorists. Republicans have no problem with harming society as a whole. These people are *******s.

Afterall, who did they attack during the fiscal cliff negotiations? Senior citizens.

Republicans may be good at business due to nepotism and cronyism, but they hardly understand economics. In fact, they have economically destroying America for decades, along with neoliberal Democrats.

Too many Republicans want the press to like them and say nice things about them so they won't oppose Obama.
