President Obama is a moderate corporate democratic politician. His expressed political views and goals are inline with the modern third way new democrats who use military force and show fealty to business interests.

He would also like to help the poor, middle, and working classes get more of the benefits from the American economy.

This nonsense that he is a radical or an egomaniac and all the rest has nothing to do with President Obama's policies or actions and everything to do with what his physical being represents to his opponents.

That sounds more like Nancy Reagan, John Edwards, Sarah Palin or Bill Clinton. Frankly, I think one of the things that frustrates right-wingers about Obama is that he doesn't seem overly preoccupied with enriching himself. I've noticed over my life their incredulity at people for whom the pursuit of money is not all that important.
