These people and their crazy conspiracies want to what? tie up resources tracking down "actors" hired by the mythical CIA (mythical, because it doesn't seem to resemble the real one in anyway).
Really, these crazy theories don't do much but allow some people to hold onto their belief structures. I.e. Guns can't be bad. So this must be fake, since they want to take away our guns. So if I start there, I can continue to believe that assault rifles or whatever are good. I would hate to reexamine my beliefs.

Explanation: A bunch of people who barely resemble each other somehow providing justification for warped gun nuts and right wing wackos to continue spreading a bunch of BS on the internet all day.

I don't see how a conspiracy of this size could be kept quite. How many people would you have to have involved and what are the chances of one talking to the press? Its like the moon landings, there are innumerable places for a leak to occur and the back lash would be massive.
