You see, the conservative tea party fallacy is that strict adherence to the American constitution even in modern times, seems based on dogmatism if nothing else. How is it not?

Actually, many conservatives would like to amend the Constitution to discriminate against gays.

This is true. In the conservative state of Georgia they have amended the state constitution to ban gay marriage and are fighting to prevent equal rights for domestic partners. Oh and bigoted Chik-Fil-A is also headquartered in Georgia.

The OP's question should be "Is the Tea Party relevant to America anymore?" and judging by their recent bottom of the barrel 32% approval rating (even lower than the GOPs caustic 37% rating), thank the lord they are not !
