This is the boldest resistance AND wording I have seen yet in defying Obama's executive orders. They are prepared to 'fight till the death' if the Second Amendment is not kept to it's traditional meaning. This is the kind of leadership we gun advocates and Second Amendment rights preservers have been looking for in order to combat this treachery the president (usurper) has unleashed on us, the American constitutional patriot. All it takes is one or two states to start it with bold defiant action (like the Utah Sheriff's association) and others will follow. I stand behind the Utah Sheriff' and my constitutional right to bear arms.
Please gun nuts keep doing this stuff. I think the real upshot of a sustained campaign on gun control is that it will clarify the issues of normal gun owners and truly enforcing the 2nd amendment and public safety, from the NRA, gun manufacturer/seller lobby propaganda and the insane, paranoid, scared, and violent gun nuts who believe that propaganda.
Perhaps if you opened your eyes and gained information from other sources than Media Matters, Daily Kos or the Whitehouse media outlets you would be able to see the moves building.
Of course for a disciple of Obama, this will never happen.

If you think I am worried you gun nuts (not the sane gun owners, just the nuts) are gonna take to the streets to start something, well I plan on waiting all my life before ever seeing that happen. It is easy to talk a big game online, it is harder to apply it to reality.

considering where I live, if a cop or fireman actually shows up, it will be after the fact rather than during a crime or fire.
It's good to see that some in government remember that they took an oath to preserve, protect and defend the constitution of the United States...not the ramblings of a wannabe dictator.
No, just want to pick and choose. Police departments, his included are all for circumventing the 2nd amendment when it suits them as we already circumvent it with ex cons and their inability to legally own a weapon even though they did their bid and honestly have the same rights to protect their families like the rest of us. Yet America see that ruling from scotus as one for the good guys even though the constitution doesn't stipulate one way or another. So just call it what it is, bad when we don't agree with something personally, good when we do.
I don't know why gun nuts think threatening people with violence if laws are passed they don't like is a rational strategy.
If gun nuts think they appear heroic or patriotic for making threats of violence, they are insane.

I think more people need to see the subset of gun nuts who are insane, violent, and treasonous.
These guys took the oath to serve, protect and defend the Constitution from enemies foreign and domestic. If the second amendment is threatened in anyway, they will defend it. That is what they have committed to. Why are you against the oath to defend the Constitution?
They are warning Obama in case he does in any manner. They mean 'Zero Tolerance'. The 2nd Amendment must be upheld in it's traditional intent. Any alterations that will affect the traditional intent will not be tolerated.
There is no edict to take away anyone's guns.
But this sheriff is direct evidence of how the right-wing has lost its mind. This sheriff says he is defending the Constitution while ironically claiming it's up to him to interpret the Constitution's "traditional intent." The Constitution gives no citizen the right to ignore laws.
If there really was a move by President Obama to unilaterally seize guns, the proper procedure is not to ignore by to challenge in court. The Constitution doesn't provide every citizen to be the law unto themselves.
