Sorry to burst your bubble...but your full of "BS"...I have relatives that live in Mississauga, Ontario. When my uncle got Cancer he was put on waiting list..My Cousin got so desperate she was think of bringing him to the USA...Fortunately everything worked out in the end...but your wonderful healthcare is not whats its cracked up to be....whether you want to admit it or not!!!
My parents immigrated from a liberal utopia socialist state...I already know what the final outcome will be....and it's not going to be pretty!!!

I have a lot of family that came here from the Soviet Union and others from East Germany, that experience did not turn them into RWNJs. In fact they love Canada and the Canadian way very much.
Ya, we have shortcomings in out healthcare system. Nothing is perfect but it's sooooo much better than the US system there is absolutely no comparison at all. I too have a cousin who got cancer and unfortunitely for him he lived his life in Detroit and was an American. That cancer cost him his business first, his home next and every single penny he had worked for for 50 years. By the time he died he was homeless and had to rely on his kids for a roof over his head. He died in great agony because he could not even get the pain meds he needed because he was broke. Don't lecture me on your wonderful system. What happened to him is impossible to happen to a Canadian. His widow was left destitute when her husband had well over a couple of million before the cancer. His insurance covered him for the first few years but then he could not get a renewal. No way, no how.

So which country did your parents escape from? Because you seem to have very limited knowledge of your parents' country, or you're lying. Half of my family were born in East Germany and I can tell you right now, based on what they lived through and what they had to put up with, Obama is more like Mussolini, not Stalin

You know, Canada is light years to the left of Obama but we still have our billionares, rich people, entrepreneurs, foreigners desiring to open and create businesses here in Canada. WE also have tight restrictions on guns but I can still go down to the local store and buy any kind of hunting rifle I want. We have, no pay universal healthcare, oh that's scary isn't it. So Mr. XXX, in every single survey I have seen we also have a WAY better quality of life than the people of the USA have. Canadians are on average far happier than Americans, we have very few extremists or wackos like you spouting their nonsence 24\7. Extremely few Canadians hate their government or leaders even if they are opposite in ideology.
I don't know what has happened to Americans? It seems that tens of millions of you have developed a serious mental disease. The paranoia is just beyond belief. Take me for example. I'm fairly liberal in my politics and at this time we have a very conservative government. Do I freak out about that fact, have hissy fits nonstop, make up horrendously stupid and ignorant fairy tales about the government? I don't, 99.9% of all Canadians don't and even the opposition in government doesn't. Such crap just hurts the country. So I like the conservative government we have? No I don't but that is the government the people chose so they have their mandate to govern.
One of the most stupid aspect about the Obama haters is this. If you really hate liberalism you should welcome a liberal government because if you really believe the crap you say about them they will do THEMSELVES in. If you think their policies will fail then LET THEM FAIL and they will be voted out of office BIG TIME. I believe that the opposite is actually the truth. You are afraid the liberal policies will succeed and your mistaken reactionary ideas will be seen for what they really are and they will be done forever.
Obama isn't a Marxist by any stretch of the imagination. He's center-left AT BEST. Personally...i'm not very keen on how he wants to move forward with managing our debt and spending obligations. Obama is weak IMO......but he ain't a Marxist.

Agreed. I didn't vote for him...and don't particularly care for him...but he is in no way a marxist. I think he is smug and a fairly ineffective leader...but a marxist??? Nope.
I've decided henceforth to resolve myself to the political middle. I used to be a Republican but I feel like everytime I hear a GOP member on television speak it's either about jesus, guns, or gays....they **** and moan about inconsequential issues and make stupid decisions about federal spending. Further...when I hear a Democrat speak it's usually some hollow double speak about entitlement reform or class division.
Both parties irritate me these days.
