NYC Mayor Bloomberg: Government has right to 'infringe on your freedom' - Washington Times

Shocked neither party is courting this moron for president in 2016 yet. They both love to destroy our freedom.

I agree that both parties have become destructive and have basically brainwashed Americans (see above).

I think Bloomberg needs to be voted out. Soda bans, Stop and Frisk. He's clear in his determination to infringe on our freedoms in an attempt at "progress."

He has no electability outside of NYC. That quote guaranteed any run for anything outside of the city limits of NYC would come to a quick end.

I doubt very seriously that he could win another term for anything even in NYC. He barely won last time after spending an absolute fortune.

I've always thought that anyone that wants an office that bad is probably a poor choice for it.

According to crazy NRA man Wayne LaPierre, Bloomberg is trying to buy the government with his $27bn. No one should be allowed to buy our government...except the NRA.

And why not? Bloomberg, like all liberals, think if they cram it down your throat enough, eventually you'll swallow it and, hey, who knows, you might like it. It's not their problem though, if you don't.

Case in point: gay marriage.

The only reason these people win is because they run on the Democrat or Republican platform.

Is their past scrutinized? What do people that grew up with them say about them? What is their moral compass. Their values? What issues brought them into politics?

Those are just a few of the questions I believe we should ask more than voting on single topics or voting party lines.

Bloomberg needs to be fired.

Please stop progressing this "liberal vs. conservative" "Democrat vs. Republican" ideology.

As far as gay marriage, its not an infringement on YOUR rights. It's simply an expansion of rights already granted. Big difference.
