She makes a good point. They think everybody sees things the way they do and when someone disagrees with their world view they are shocked and insulted. LOL

The media is liberal so they think the world is liberal.

Partisan hacks are such hypocrites.

Intolerance is a human condition. No one group has a corner on that market. There are intolerant lberals, intolerant neoconservatives, intolerant males, intolerant females, intolerant tall people, intolerant short people, and on and on...

This. Shall I start trotting out the intolerant conservatives that dominate the airwaves today and apply their behaviors to all conservatives?

Yes, but the difference is that tolerance is a lynchpin of liberalism. It's sorta like the liberals delight in pointing out any instance of a Republican caught cheating on his wife. It was okay for Clinton to do it, but they're happy to pillory a conservative for doing it. The reason being that conservatives tend to champion family values. And honestly, I don't really begrudge them that. However, what's good for the goose is good for the gander. When it comes to someone who champions tolerance, you can't only champion tolerance for those who agree with you.

Was it the liberals bellyaching over a sitting president and his marriage infidelities? It wasn't that it was okay for Clinton to do it.....it was the witch hunt by the righties that ensued, where they were grabbing at straws to try to get him impeached. I think the problem with this thread, and the many that conservatives start on here, show a lack of understanding of just what makes up "liberal policies"; also the problem with placing liberals on some type of high pedestal where they aren't allowed to show human traits. Conservatives lose horribly on economics(because they think a country's economy is ran like an individual's household economy) and conservatives lose abysmally on social issues, because most seem unable(or maybe they don't care) to begin to understand them with an open mind(read some sociological papers pertaining to them, actually talk to someone being affected by conservative intolerance, etc). Tolerance or intolerance is just something that someone who really doesn't have a grasp on the fullness of the issues blurts out. Y'alls skirt is showing.
