HUH? Obama won 9 of the top ten earning US states, which also represent the same percentage of the most educated states.

The attached list shows the 5 most and least educated, and they divide out as blue for the former, red for the latter.

IT'S BUSH'S FAULT. BUSH'S FAULT!!!!! Naw...it just takes a long time to improve an economy.:r olleyes: Like 5 years or so.:rolley es:
You repeat that same Fox talking point so I will repeat the answer.
Bob Cesca: Republicans Filibuster Everything, Romney Blames Obama for Not Working With Congress
'Since Democrats took control of the Senate in 2006, Republicans Have Mounted 380 Filibusters'
Can you digest what this means? The dems do not have control of anything. The only "control" they have is the presidential veto - not enough to accomplish anything, and also according to the republican plan.

The truth is, that the slow recovery of the last 3 years is mostly their fault. You can blame Obama for caving on key issues.
I think you're right here. Bama naively thought the opposition was not out to get him and thought he could bargain, or did he just get whatever he could? I don't know.
There is a tactic used by many people - when right, take the credit, when wrong, spread the blame.

Okay Rush, you want low-information voters? Here is your audience.
Meet America
What happens when one depends on Fox for "news"?
Yet Another Survey: Fox News Viewers Worst-Informed, NPR Listeners Best-Informed | Mediaite
In other words Fox verifies certain people's perceptions, and they do it for profit - nothing else. BTW you didn't know that, for the most part, the govt-hating red states are the biggest welfare queens?

You see, Romney looked like the consummate businessman regardless of his past record and the fact that he was wealthy in the cradle.
Candidate

Because low informed voters don't have a clue what is happening to the country.

Wrong. President Obama has succeeded beyond expectations given the blatant and offensively partisan obstruction of the Republican Party, a culmination of thirty-five years of increasing self-centered, anti-social behavior by the GOP.

You are either prevaricating by denial, or are utterly unaware of current events.

You do realize, I hope, that the term of a President is 4 years, not 2 years. Or is that more of the aforementioned prevaricating by denial that the Republicans are promoting among their supporters? Regardless, there is no rational way to deny the success of the President's efforts in digging this country out of the economic mess that Republicans drove it into, despite every last bit of energy that Republicans have exerted to damage this country further in the interest of self-centered, partisan priggishness.

The Republicans continue to double- triple- and quadruple-down on selfish reactionaryism and immoral greed-mongering.

Tax rates historically low. Economy improving, and unemployment for college educated is below 5%. Slow recovery from financial devastation of prior admin. Stock market fully rebounded. Decade of wars unwinding. Healthcare becoming available for more people. Social issues favored by many being moved forward.

I'm not trying to convince anyone to agree, but the OP asked why the President's favorability is up, and those are probably some of the reasons.

It is a reflection of the fact that the average IQ of Americans is below 100. The majority of US citizens are idiots, as reflected by the election of Obama in 2012.

Did you make that same contention when Bush won?

But someone already crunched the numbers.

Quote:
For reference, the average IQ of Americans is 98. The average IQ for Obama voters in this data is 99.8 and the average IQ for Romney voters is 98.8. The average IQ of the counties represented is 99.2.
...
Quite frankly, despite the fact that this data shows a slight preference among voters in lower IQ counties to prefer Mr. Romney, and voters in higher IQ counties to prefer Mr. Obama, my take-away is that IQ was not a significant factor in determining the outcome of the 2012 presidential election, or at least that this data doesn't show a significant correlation.
