I don't care about someone's skin, it's the cultures and the way the new Americans don't seem to really want to become Americans. They want to turn great cities like Minneapolis into a Mogadishu. And their damn religion trumps all.
I agree. I don't give a rat's behind what skin color future Americans might have. It is our culture and language that is important to me. Illegal immigration and encouragement not to assimilate to them is what I have a problem with. Why isn't our country allowed to retain its national identity and some even wish to change it for some reason. There are also some whojust can't wait till every white skinned, blue-eyed blonde person is irradicated from our soil also and that is just plain racist on their part.

I have no idea what you're talking about. Cultures CHANGE. Cultures are fluid and not static. In this country and all others, culture has changed, is changing, will change, and will continue to change. The only cultures that don't change are those that are dying, or have died.

Uh; that depends on the state I think. Tho I've known several people with 1 Black grandparent and 3 white ones who saw themselves as "white" and looked "anglo white".

It won't work because a "brown" person can be of ANY race with some of them being white, some Black and some Asian. Too, many Hispanics ARE def white, Black or Asian, NOT mixed.

That poster didn't say anything about the Oregon territory.

It is true that the Treaty of San Ildefonso is often overlooked.

Quote:
ARTICLE 3
His Catholic Majesty promises and undertakes on his part to retrocede to the French Republic, six months after the fun and entire execution of the above conditions and provisions regarding His Royal Highness the Duke of Parma, the colony or province of Louisiana, with the same extent that it now has in the hands of Spain and that it had when France possessed it, and such as it ought to be according to the treaties subsequently concluded between Spain and other states.
Treaty of Ildefonso 1800

Spain did hold that vast area(Louisiana Territory) for nearly 40 years - from the end of the Seven Year's War until they signed the ToSI.
