Yeah, his statements that Muslims have the right to rule their women make me shudder....and people thought that the republicans would hurt women's rights.... Romney never even hinted that men should rule women.

I don't hate the man (I have zero respect for him but I don't hate him) but I hate what he's doing to our country. I don't think he is american at heart. Just on paper. I don't think he had the experience to take the job he ran for. I don't think he has the experience now after doing the job poorly for 4 years. I just can't figure out how an anti american political rookie manages to get into the white house and the majority of people are happy with it? As I said earlier, all of this makes me wonder who is really running our country. Who is his pupper master? Who pulled the strings to get him into office? And, more importantly, what is their real agenda?
I fear we're about to find out. obummer doesn't have to worry about reelection now so he can make deals with Putin and do whatever it is he was really elected to do.
This ladies and gentlemen is the average I hate President Obama person. They don't have the character to admit they hate the man because of his skin color, so they invent and create these vague make believe stories about the man in an attempt to justify their feelings.

I don't hate Obama. I just think he is doing more harm than good. It really annoys me how fickle, hypocritical and ignorant his supporters are as they make excuse after excuse for him. Nothing is ever Obama's fault. They hate Bush, yet they constantly compare Obama to Bush..."well Bush did it too."
Obama has flip flopped on major positions and told some whoppers and his followers ignore it.
2008 Obama supporters were for him since the Patriot Act was bad and he pledged not to renew it. Obama renews it and his supporters justify it.
2008 Obama supporters were for him since he would be more transparent and allow time for public debate and the bill to be publicly posted -- he broke this on his very first bill he signed into law and on over 90% of the bills...showing that he never intended on keeping this promise...his supporters don't care.

I do not hate him as a person . I disagree with most of his policies . I believe he does not respect the constitution . I think his hate and class warfare tactics divide the country.
The proof of this lies in your very question where you assume someone against his policy hates him.
So we see this very question make wrong assumptions and generalizations when someone opposes policies
Obama has proven himself to be proficient at making campaign promises which he has no intention of keeping. Think back to the run-up to the 2008 election when he was promising to have the "most transparent presidency ever," then look at exacly how much of his policy making goes on behind closed doors with no public input. This is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the campaign promises he has made and promptly forgotten. He also promised to close Gitmo upon his first election, expedite our withdrawal from the Middle East, and explore peaceful relations with foreign countries. Sorry, but I don't really see how bombing women and children with drones is an exploration of peaceful relations.

While I wouldn't vote for him, I had some hope (no pun intended) that he wouldn't be too bad but the bolded was the very early end of any optimism at all.

He has stated that men should hang out and deal with it, even when the woman's in the wrong. He's left men out in his presidential elections, shames men for failed parenting, cater to women's organizations, and allow females and gays to join straight men's groups and fields.
He, along with Josephine (not Joseph) VAWA Biden, have got to be the biggest misandrists in office. However, I do give them credit for letting women in combat. So many men have lost their lives in wars over the decades. Male disposability has to stop at some point in time.
You asked what made me hate him in the first place and I won't belabor the word "hate" in response, because it's already been belabored to death in this thread.
When I first became aware of Obama I wanted to believe his rhetoric. He was a post-racial, young, charismatic, articulate man of the 21st century, who spoke of uniting instead of dividing, of transparency and accountability, and for a short while I was incredibly interested to find out more about this man.
And then the questions began: the church he had attended, in which he was married and in which his girls were baptised - the home of the domestic terrorist where he began his Chicago political career - his lack of government and business experience - the lack of will by mainstream media to dig into his personal and professional background and ask the tough questions - his associations with community organizations such as ACORN - his clinging to guns and bibles comment - his association with suspect real estate agents - his political strategy of voting "present" - his early comments about spreading the wealth around - his supporters lack of will to look beyond the superficial and to ask the tough questions - his wife's comment that "for the first time in my adult life......etc. etc." To name only a few.
The more I learned, the more troubling the carefully crafted and packaged candidate became.
There were other things that were not in Obama's direct control. The response he received during international speeches such as the one in Germany. As I watched the huge crowds and adulation, I felt extremely uncomfortable and troubled. I thought "no publicly elected official should have the power to be able to elicit that kind of response. That kind of adulation is dangerous". Mainstream media folks talking about thrills up their legs and asking (after the election) about what he was finding "most enchanting" about being president. I thought "the media's responsibility is to report, to ask the tough questions, to hold elected officials accountable" - that kind of adulation is dangerous."
And so it began. It had nothing to do with his race and everything to do with him as a presidential candidate, and my response to the information that was gradually filtering out one piece at a time. When Obama was elected president the first time I remember thinking "He's the president now. He's MY president now. I hope he does well, because if HE does well, we ALL do well".
There was no instantaneous realization that I did not like Barack Obama. Actually whether or not I like him as a man or a human being doesn't even factor into the equation. But I don't like the job he is doing as president. Not at all.
For most President Obama haters it is 100% about skin color. In other words, they hated him as soon as they saw him and thought he could win.
First of all - very few people "hate" the presidemt.
Second - you obviously have not read this thread or you wouldn't make such an inane comment. Several people have articulated why they strongly oppose the president's policies, and how they feel that he has disdain for the republic.
