If your friend lives in Egypt, or Iran, or Saudi Arabia, or Yemen, or Pakistan etc... he will probably speak in hushed tones, so as not to be overheard by other Muslims.
I am sure if I wanted to waste the time, I could find 6 equally heinous murders in the past few days committed by Christians....or Jews....or Budhist.....or Hindus. No religion has a monopoly on the evil that some will do in their name.
Same can be said of Christianity, both religions profess to be religions of peace. But just read their holy books, wow, should be slapped with an R rating.
How many innocent Muslim women and children have been killed by the Christian members of the US military during the occupations in Iraq and Afghanistan?
Does that mean that Christianity is also not a religion of peace?
