Advertisements

We all know how advertisement works - repeating sales pitch eventually entice us to purchase their products, but somehow displaying violence over and over doesn't cause people to commit violent acts???

I firmly believe it's the time that we remove all violence from our media and video games. It's for the children, you know.

I say its time to stop telling others how to life their lifes. If what you do, in no way/shape/form effects my life, I should have no say in it.

Great, we can just have our violent murdering government pass some laws prohibiting such.
Oh it can then use violence like it always does to enforce said laws.

Science has disproven that link. But, as the old add age goes, your radio has two knobs, one to change the station, the other to turn it off. The choice is yours. I do not support an assault weapons ban, but limiting magazine size, and tracking all gun sales, just makes sense. If needed, id happily sign a registration for my modern warfare games, although no link with violent media and games, to real violent acts has been found. In fact, its been disproven, multiple times now.

Violent video games not shown to cause real-world violence | MinnPost

Much like the other articles I posted earlier, you'll ignore this and go on about your own world, secure with whatever you think is right, despite all scientific evidence to the contrary.

I'll say again, there is no link, none, between violent video games and TV, to real life violent acts.
