Oh that's right, POT HEADS GET STUPID!

Maybe you don't know it but stupidity is nearing epic proportions and I see young males than are so stupid they don't know how to pull their own pants up...
Where do you infer that cannabis is an "evil" weed? There is absolutely no evidence that there is anything dangerous or harmful about cannabis. There a so many professionals in the Triangle that use cannabis on a daily basis, either as a pain reliever or a stress reliever. These professionals who maintain good employment and have families and normal lives are not lacking in intelligence. Stop spewing these lies about a harmless plant. If you don't know how to recognize propaganda from actual scientific evidence perhaps you need to do more research. Just recently the American College of Physicians endorsed medical marijuana for its many medical attributes. They stated this is a viable medication and that more research needs to be performed.

With the current prohibition of marijuana in effect there is no real way to conduct further research into the matter. In a few years the evidence will be there despite the propagandists attempts to skew the truth. The fact of the matter is, regardless of your personal beliefs about marijuana, prohibition does NOT work. It is a waste of time, and resources and accomplishes nothing. It didn't work for alcohol and there were many just like you who pointed out all the evil alcohol can cause. Ask a police officer which substance out of the two they would rather be legal and an honest answer would likely be marijuana. I spoke with many members at the annual meeting and they relayed that 80% of the violent crimes committed in the triangle area are done so under the influence of alcohol while they seldom ever see anyone get in trouble as a direct result of cannabis. So, for all those opposing parties who have no real facts about this amazing plant, please educate yourself and understand that all you have heard are lies. If someone would like to dispute this in any manner I would be happy to speak with you. If you would like more information about medical marijuana in NC you can visit North Carolina Cannabis Patients Network.

Thanks

Fun Fact: Consumption of only 10 potatoes can cause a toxic reaction in humans. Marijuana's effective toxicity level is 1500 lbs consumed in 5 minutes.

Obviously you don't know how to do any research. The older generation just needs to get out of the way and realize they are losing their grip. A recent poll in NC showed that 58% of likely voters supported the legalization of medical marijuana. The bill was killed by the legislators, not the voters. You should read the articles that you can find with this neat little search engine called Google. The people who oppose legal MMJ are the ones being a little silly and stupid. There is no rational reason to continue this pursuit. It will be legal in a matter of time no matter how hard the opposition pushes. In the meantime we are missing out on revenue and jobs.

We just have to keep pushing! Sooner or later. If these politicians would open their eyes they would see that the profitability would increase with legalization. They need to tell the special interest groups to go pound salt.

LOL @ transplants telling others to leave. You've been there for 2 seconds. Shut your yap until you've been there long enough to find your own house without GPS.

That's the key...gotta wait for the old farts to die off, and it's not happening fast enough unfortunately.
