And since the GOP has been in control what have they done? Banned same sex marriage and now this. So much for the economy, these 2 things were much more important.
Why would the economy need to be a focus when the DEMS controlled the government of NC for so long? Surely they did everything perfectly and the economy was just cruising along, right?

Actually for many years it was. We were also recovering better then most states up until the GOP took over in 2011. Those people are utterly insane. Even Art Pope is telling them to put the breaks on with some of their agenda.

Lots of liberals in NC claim Art Pope is the puppet master, though. Are you saying that's not the case?
How about the "economy they inherited"? Or does that only work for our current White House occupiers?
Yes, it's legal in California - but the Feds won't back off - which makes it a state's rights issue. The Feds actually went after a micro-brewery up in Weed, CA because their beer bottle caps said "legal weed". Do they seriously not have anything else to do?????
And the legalization measure for recreational pot went down due to the well funded propaganda campaign by the liquor and beer folks who'd rather keep us drunk.
I am moving out in the next 2 weeks actually. To a more free state.
