Again, you obviously don't know me. I work in Brooklyn and am usually there from about 9a to sometime 9p, so yeah, I spend a good portion of my days in Brooklyn and hopefully come may, I will be spending all my time in Brooklyn.

In other words you don't live there. Give us the high and mighty New Yorker speech when you move, now stick to Jersey.

I agree with both, I just wanted to point out that your percentage was purely BS, if you don't know, you don't know, but don't just make up a percentage that makes yourself feel right.

You are right, I just feel like I live there because I am always there. But if you like, I am welcome to give you any speech you would like to hear when I move in May. But even still, what does someone in Texas care about what happens in NYC? You live a lot further from NYC than I do. Sounds like you shouldn't concern yourself with State issues that you don't live in.

I look forward to your speech!

All these pages and we finally come pretty close to a consensus that this is a pretty stupid law.

Hey, shut up, you're not allowed to talk about things that happen outside of your state.

I am just curious, alot of these posts pretty much sum up the feeling, but is this what the majority of people in New York want, and if not, why dont New Yorkers put an end to the laws, i would think that 6 plastic bottles create more trash than say 1- 2 liter bottle. I would rather pay 3 dollars for a 2 liter soda for the family at a pizza place than say 7 dollars for a bunch of 16 oz'ers. I have heard so many people like me thats not from New York give their 4 and half cents, but it is nice to go to the community that it actually impacts and see what they are saying, i love trans fat, and salty things and big gulps, and i am not anywhere near over-weight. Hard for me to imagine such a dictation into ones personal life, sorry that still doesnt make me a wake job, just a freedom loving American!
