Judge throws out the soda ban. I'm sure links will follow with the reasoned argument from the court.

Nothing larger than 16 oz is allowed in NYC..NOTHING.

Bloomberg’s large-soda ban also prohibits 2-liter bottles with pizza orders and some bottle-service mixers at nightclubs - NYPOST.com
Nanny Bloomberg unleashes his ban on large sodas on March 12 — and there are some nasty surprises lurking for hardworking families.
Say goodbye to that 2-liter bottle of Coke with your pizza delivery, pitchers of soft drinks at your kid’s birthday party and some bottle-service mixers at your favorite nightclub.
I can get behind saying this is a stupid idea.

Hearts in a good place, of course.

It wont be long until you are servered pitchers of soda water at your table, and you add the syrup yourself

human beings are too smart to be stopped by this kind of stuff

O.K. I guess I better get the link.

Judge Halts New York City Soda Ban

A state judge on Monday stopped Mayor Michael Bloomberg's administration from banning the sale of large sugary drinks at New York City restaurants and other venues, a major defeat for a mayor who has made public-health initiatives a cornerstone of his tenure.

The city is "enjoined and permanently restrained from implementing or enforcing the new regulations," New York Supreme Court Judge Milton Tingling decided Monday.

I thought they just said the soda ban was finished, nobodys taking Bloomberg seriously and they're ignoring the law. Just like they'll do to Obama and any attempt at new anti gun legislation.

I wonder just how many new government workers will be hired to enforce these laws?

Indeed. It's a relief to see that there is still some common sense around. I hope many businesses who wasted money and time preparing for Bloomberg's law sue the pants off of Mister Billionaire to recover their losses.
