A rocket exploded in southern Israel on Tuesday in the first such attack by militants in the Hamas Islamist ruled Gaza Strip since a truce ended a week of cross-border fighting in November
For every Missile fired at Israel, Israel fires 10 back, in the same way, just aimed in the direction, and fired.
No go. Hamas sets up the rocket launchers in areas that are densely populated, so that any casualties from Israel retaliating will be made to sound like Israel purposely launched a missile back at a school or a daycare or a hospital or something equally heinous. Not that Israel is entirely without fault, that's just how the game is played over there.
I'd be surprised if Israel didn't go hot again with ground forces. They seem to be tolerating this less and less every time it happens.
Israel should have gone in last November. Now is the time to finish the job they should have done then. Go on boys - get 'em.
Dont you think if that was a "doable" option, that the Israelis would have already done it? Bibi may be loved here in America, but he just squeaked out a win at home.
So to all Americans that want a voice in Israeli politics, Go On Boys...
Much as I would like Israel to do something now I think what will happen now is a couple more rockets from Gaza, then Israel will do some more pin-point targeting in Gaza. Hamas will cry, and launch many rockets into Israel, then Israel will just do some more pin-point targets bombings and then mass their army at the border to Gaza. Then peace for a day or two, then one rocket will be fired into Gaza and Israel will go into Gaza. It will take several weeks from now till that happens.
