Some pretend that homosexuality is a good thing, when they know nothing could be further from the truth. They hate God and the mere mention of any religion, because that's the last piece of morality still remaining in this morally corrupt society.
Hrm, I am in favour of equal marriage for gays and lesbians, I certainly don't hate God. You might even say I am quite religious considering my call to serve as a minister. The God I celebrate is one of love, justice and equality - not separation, division and condemnation. Perhaps you should go back and read the Bible again, I would be happy to point out some of the teachings of Jesus where he teaches us to love and accept not hate and judge.
And I am excited about the future and am full of optimism about the direction this country is going in, at least when it comes to things like marriage equality.
I have five sons, ranging in age from 17 to 37, and I have four granddaughters, and I believe they are inheriting a better world, one that is more tolerant, less judgmental, and way more accepting of diversity than the one I grew up in.
The youth of today are wonderful. None of my boys has a problem with marriage equality - in fact, they all support it - and I have not met one single friend of any of my sons who has a problem with it. And I see that as such a wonderful thing.
I believe that immoral activity should be shunned, not accepted. Homosexuality is wrong. When Obama endorsed gay marriage, he lost my vote and all of my support.

Homosexuality is a sin, just as many other things are sins (like lying, adultery, stealing, murder, etc). I can not pretend and act like it's not because a silly minister or preacher who receives money from public/private funds to support gays, or because congress, the entertainment industry etc, propagate that we should celebrate this type of lifestyle. I don't care what you or anyone else says, it's an abomination and will never be an accepted way of life. Society can try to change things to make it seem appealing and good, but the reality is, nothing could be further from the truth. It's kind of like how society currently promotes, violence, promiscuity and drugs as good things.
If you were truly a minister you would know that God intended marriage for man and woman, so in actuality you revealed that you don't know God or His teachings. Also, you are lying when you say that God teaches us to love and accept everything under the sun. God teaches us to recognize right from wrong, and to speak out, not blindly accept and love those who do not love Him. The same people who you want to "love," hate God and would love nothing more than to see religion wiped from the face of the earth, so that there is nothing to question their gross immorality.
This is what they truly desire, nothing more, nothing less.
I think the reason for all the fuss is a lot of people are so insecure they have to have some well defined group of people that it is legitimate to discriminate so they can unquestioningly feel superior to something. You want children to be exposed to that sort of lifestyle at an early age, so that they never learn right from wrong, whereby allowing you and your ilk to continue along your path of destroying morality and values. Because I don't accept nor endorse sex between same genders doesn't make me intolerant or a bigot. It just means that I don't accept that perverse lifestyle or want that type of behavior around me or my family. It's akin to not wanting to be around criminals/murderers, liars, prostitutes, pedophiles, etc. I view it all as one in the same.. it's nothing more than gross pathology.
