Often times on this board the term "homophobia" is thrown about in reference to people who disagree with the gay army's agenda. This is an entirely meaningless term and the only purpose is to shut down debate and avoid any honest discussion about the homosexual marriage issue.
However, if you honestly think that some people are afraid of homosexuals, do you also subscribe to the idea of the opposite phobia existing?
Can one be a heterophobe?

Maybe you are bisexual. I promise you that I can't become attracted to men. I never think of men that way at all. Women on the other hand I think about all day long, in fact, every time I see a pretty girl I can't help myself from thinking about them and flirting with them. I seriously, seriously, doubt you can choose. Now, maybe YOU can choose, but that is a personal issue that isn't applicable to anyone else.
That's what I'm sayin'! It ain't rocket science! When it comes to being attracted to women.

One could, but there are not many of them around. Not many people are arguing to prevent heterosexuals from having open relationships with full associated legal marital rights.
Many people, on the other hand, are quite eager to prevent homosexuals from having those same rights. Just look in the mirror.
