We have terrible unemployment along with under employment where people have been for years and what does the politicians do? why they want to increase visa workers and legalize undocumented workers and of course not stop outsourcing overseas.

Obama is a disgrace but the Republicans are no better.

True. The politicians are bending over backward trying to encourage more illegals to come and take the jobs and whatever else. Just a bunch of sell outs -- ALL of them.

And too many Americans don't care because as long as the government handouts like the nice unemployment checks, welfare handouts, food stamps, etc keep coming, they're rather not have to work for a living.

That's because enough are stupid to keep voting the politicians, as long as the politicians get enough money from their friends and superiors they can use that money to influence the media to keep the politicians for being voted in.

There aren't informed voters giving money to politicians, compared to friends and superiors, so, from a dirty politician's perspective, why should they listen to the American worker?

I think you all are right and national elections seem to be a pick between the lesser of two evils.
I spoke with an immigrant yesterday. He came from the former Yugoslavia and he is disgusted by the term "undocumented immigrants". He takes serious offense that the word immigrant is used to define illegal residents. He said when he came here 40 years ago, it was the greatest country in the world and thinks Washington is messing this up big time.

It was interesting to hear his viewpoint being someone that has struggled elsewhere and did all he could to immigrate legally.

What are we, as a bunch of disgusted citizens, to do to take our country to where it should be? I'm asking that seriously and am open to real suggestions. I'm at a loss.

You just figuring this out? They're more loyal to their party than their constituents.

Yes indeed OP. You are correct. But it is also our fault as American people for being dumb***** and continuing to re-elect these bafoons! Stop voting D and R and playing "the lesser of two evils" game and those in DC may....just may... get the hint that they work for ALL Americans, and not just those who grease their palms!
