I remember MANY people who screwed around in high school and college who now bemoan thier financial state. Sorry, but I have little sympathy for one who has chosen thier own path in life and has not succeeded. When I was working hard, they were screwing around. It is a simple tale of the ant and the grasshopper.
We are one of the few countries where you can be born into a poor family but move into being a rich man or woman. Especially woman, in many countries they are not even allowed out the front door without a relative escorting them. No, in the Obama era the failures are more interested in dragging everyone down while the DC elite get richer.

If you liberals and democrats hate this country so much and prefer socialism (where you are born into a poor family and die poor). Hey Greece is beautiful!

We would all be on our way to a much better life. Companies would pay higher wages too. When too many people are looking for jobs it is a employees market, in other words they do not have to entice workers with higher wages because so many people are out there looking for a job. When people have jobs employees are foxed to pay higher wages to entice workers to work for them. Obviously that is too hard for liberals and democrats to comprehend.

It is funny how liberals and democrats think they can do everything by force to their own detriment.

The majority of reason why is lack of qualifications.

But yet most of these people were perfectly qualified before they lost their jobs. What gives?

Yep, but they think they should be paid the same as someone who has the skill set and the ability to take on bigger responsibilities in exchange for better wages.

Lack of qualifications, no skills, bad attitude "I am American, therefor a job is my right" attitude.

So you are saying that you are dependent on a company for a job and what they pay THEN complain that they don't pay enough.

See what being dependent on others gets you? Then you vote for increased government dependency. What proof do you have that government dependency increase your income and standard of living? I look at welfare and those people, ... hey if that is the standard of living you want?

Just check out all the whining on the work and employment forum because some don't want to work 60+ hrs a week, don't want to work weekends, and don't want to work nights.
You say this as if it's a bad thing.

No. I'm saying that a lot of people had jobs and didn't need food stamps prior to losing that job. Some are saying lack of qualifications to get a job yet there are some perfectly qualified people that cannot find a job in this economy.

In short, the economy is not getting better hence the rise of food stamp rolls.

In no way do I ever vote for someone that wants increased public assistance.
