The teaching of Creationism, whether under the label "Intelligent Design" or other denomination, has no place in public education.See Tammy Kitzmiller, et al. v. Dover Area School District, et al., 400 F.Supp.2d 707 (M.D. Pa. 2005). Our public schools are built and maintained at taxpayer expense to educate the people, and provide them with that knowledge necessary to be productive persons capable to fulfilling their civic responsibilities; which mandate governs the curriculum. In this regard, religious doctrine is not a proper subject for public education, but rather belongs in private or parochial schools, not public schools.
There is nothing wrong with teaching evolution as a theory, along with creation as a theory. Neither should be taught as proven fact, because both are unproveable.
Thank you for confirming that you have no idea what "theory" means within the realm of science versus common parlance.
DNA was produced just as spontaneously, and coincidentally at the very same time that as life was, funny how the dice rolled on that one, eh?
Let's do even better than that, since everything must be created, let's ask him who or what created God where did God exist prior to creating the universe?

You exist, yet you deny evolution. What was your point? The debate is over how life came to exist and you are using your belief to prove your belief?
I'm glad you clarified what the true point of debate is ... lots of your double talking associates strenuously insist that evolution doesn't even talk about the origin of life. This supports my earlier remark about how difficult it is to debate you evolutionists, because the story changes moment to moment.
Now ... show us where evolution has defined and proven how life came into existence, okay? Of course, that is a rhetorical question because evolution hasn't and can't explain it .. which is why evolution cannot be used to disprove either creation or intelligent design, which, by the way, are two totally separate theories.

To actually believe that DNA came into existence my random mixing of raw material is THE most idiotic idea ever accepted by the human mind. And that's really saying something, given the endless list of stupid crap some people believe is true.
The very notion of this would be like believing you could put computer keyboards in front of 100 monkeys and they could randomly bang on those keyboards, churning out endless lines of text gibberish .. and all you would have to do is wait long enough, and the ultimate result would be a functional microsoft operating system, with all of it's office automation programs too, and for good measure, the entire Encyclopedia Britannica, cataloged and indexed .... that, multiplied by 1000 ... since the DNA code is far more complex than any computer program ever written.
This is actually what you believe. You may not actually realize that. And I hope that is true. But that is what you believe. And it is mathematically incalculably impossible that DNA could have come into existence by random chance .... it is an organic data storage device more sophisticated than any other known to exist, which contains within it's very structure, a coded language consisting of every instruction necessary to create a living cell, as well as duplicate itself, and correct and repair errors.
You might as will look at a Bugatti Veyron and claim it was the result of scrap metal randomly rusting together. Or as one gentlemen once suggested, it would be like a tornado hitting a junkyard, that resulted in the creation of a functional Boeing 747.
that's Michael Behe's "irreducible complexity" claptrap.
