Louisiana, the #1 murder rate state in the nation seems to want to keep, and expand on their dubious title by stating that the ability for convicted felons to own guns is "unconstitutional"

New Orleans judge rules statute forbidding felons from having firearms unconstitutional after 'fundamental right' amendment | NOLA.com

I agree with the ruling. Non violent felons should be allowed to own guns. It is amazing what is a felony these days. In some states if you take your Rx out of the bill bottle and carry it in something else, like a daily pill organizer, that is a felony.
Or these two who snuck into a second movie, they were charged with a felony

Or this guy who released some balloons into the air for valentines day got charged with a felony

Don't confuse lefties with facts.

Take the inner city gun murder statistics out of the total and we're the safest nation on earth.

If something is unjust, it should be fought against.

It's not black and white like some would like to believe. A high school classmate of mine was convicted of felony drug charges at age 16. He hasn't had anything on his record since then (25 years later). He's been clean and sober for those 25 years and he now holds a graduate degree and is employed as an engineer at a respected corporation. Should he not be allowed to own a firearm to protect himself?

If you do not like it, ya'll just steer clear of Louisiana.

Of course, how can they sell guns to normal people without an armed threatening bogyman to scare them into it?

They don't care how many people die, just lining their pockets.

Once again Frank sees the big picture. Now the rest of you sheep start thinking for yourself and question what the MSM are telling you.
