U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has granted uniform contracts to VF Imagewear, Inc., an apparel company that relies on manufacturing sites in Mexico for a “significant percentage” of its occupational garments.

The latest contract with the company was awarded on Dec. 20, 2012, to make “uniform and insignia items” for the CBP at an estimated cost of $6,157,997.57, and a ceiling of $8 million.

Mexico is becoming a manufacturing hub for US.

Even IBM has just decided to manufacture all their mid range and mainframes in Mexico.
VW has been there for years.

Even the USG shops around for the best prices.

VW (Volkswagen) is a German company headquartered in Wolfsburg, Germany...

They do produce some of their vehicles in the US, which might tick off some Germans.

But basically every Jetta and Beetle you buy in the US - cars which are their bread and butter - are made in Mexico...

Many Chevy Suburbans, Tahoes, and Silverados are made in Mexico as well.
