Exactly right.
These people want to cite history, yet when history is against them they get sarcastic and dismissive.
To Winter Sucks and any other pro-control take my rights freak:
1. Feinstein did ban assault weapons for nearly a decade. Results: no results, assault weapon crimes did not move the needle either way. History proves criminals will get and use any weapons they can afford on the black market.
2. Over 1M crimes have been thwarted by citizens packing.
3. Ban weapons nationally and watch the country turn into DC, Chicago, Detroit, all of which have the strictest gun control in the country, yet the higheast crime.
4. See #1-3, repeat until the truth is digested.
As for nuclear weapons, ban the hell out of them for anyone!! While we're at it we can: ban fully functional aircraft carriers, Abrahms tanks, F-22s, GTA sidewinders and any other medium to heavy weapons system you can think of, from being privately owned. Sarcasm begets sarcasm.
Leave carbines and handguns alone so we can protect the people we love... or, as Obama is finding out, face the 65M of us head on and lose.
Looking to see if any Sheriff's in my state that are doing so...Sigh...some in my state but not my county...YET! I hope soon though gonna contact them..
