The Alabama state legislature has approved a bill that could close abortion clinics that fail to follow the same health and safety standards expected of legitimate medical centers.
After multiple botched abortions in the state of Alabama that inured women over the last couple of years, state legislators have responded by approving a bill that would require abortion clinics to meet more stringent requirements. But pro-abortion lawmakers said they worried abortion clinics that couldn’t comply would be forced to close.
Talk about botched abortions. What do you want to do to stop a woman from going on the Internet to find out what the hell she is supposed to do with a coat hanger to induce her abortion?
I'd be surprised if these laws were not struck down. They are just tying to circumvent Roe V Wade while pretending these new regulations that close the clinics are for legitimate health reasons.

Regulating the clinic is legal. That's how the red states are going to close abortion clinics. They will still whine about welfare and refuse to offer sex education.
I wonder why right wingers are now concerned about safe abortions?
