No clue. This shouldn't be a left vs. right thing. It should be a common sense and respect for our fellow citizens thing. After the dust settles, go ahead and ponder the consequences of this situation, but now is the time for hope and care.
But thats like suggesting we need to wait until the end of the Iraq war, before we discuss the consequences, or that we needed to kill Bin Laden, before discussing how to deal with 911, or how to stop gun violence after a shooting, or how to protect planes from being hijacked after one is taken over.
Its perfectly natural and normal to discuss what the effects of actions are, before the dust settles, and suggesting that discussing these things is disrespeful is utter garbage.
Today is a holiday in Massachusetts - Patriot's Day. Lots of offices are closed so I don't know if they are at work. I texted the younger one, but she hasn't answered. I don't think I'd want to get on a subway car right now, either.

I think everyone would know to stay off public transportation at this point. The Boston Globe tweeted that they found a suspicious package at the Harvard MBTA station.
Not necessarily. They are finding devices all over the city. And the pros on the other side are not only Al Queda there are plenty of interntional terrorist organizations that do not have the resources of al queda.
Well if these are professionals, then we got very lucky that there weren't more victims.
They're saying a bunch of people had arms and legs blown off, but thankfully there were a ton of medical personnel there to help with the runners, so they were able to respond instantly.
They have A LOT of medical personnel near the ends of all marathons so that is a silver lining. At others parts of the race they have a lot less.
Anybody trying to pin this action without facts on a group they don't like is just a sick individual.
Sorry to tell you but terrorism is not just foriegn based. A couple of fanatical americans doing this is still terrorism.
